Good morning everyone.
Well after a very very busy weekend with the rest of the Creative Expressions Team, I have decided to show one of my pieces I created as a demonstrator at Crafting at Ally Pally. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces there, and also to meet new ones too.
So here is what I created.
Stone Chalk Paint
Sue Wilson Christmas Tree Dies
Christmas Sentiment Dies
American Seam Binding
Gathered Twigs Distress Ink
Christmas Paper Pad, by Phill Martin
Stencil (from stash)
Paint bauble with a primer, and then follow with 2 coats of stone chalk paint.
Mix some chalk paint with cornflower until the texture of filler.
Push this through a mask of your choice and leave to set. (I left this an hour).
In the meantime I die cut my trees using Phill Martin's papers and distressed the
edges with gathered twigs distress ink.
Apply diamond sparkles to trees using cosmic glue.
Leave to dry.
Stamp sentiment on more paper from the pad using the gathered twigs and adhere to the MDF
token which is included with the stamps.
Once the bauble is dry apply more diamond sprinkles to the cracked background.
Glue all items to the bauble and finish with some cream seam binding.
I made many more over the weekend so will bring some more to you during the week.
Hope you like it
