Good morning all!
Well its been a busy busy week here. Im prepping for my next One Day Special on Hochanda. I have some gorgeous goodies to share with you and you will be able to see them all on the 20th November, 8pm and then through the day on the 21st.
So to todays project. I have chosen to go a little outside my comfort zone. I am not what you would call the classic cardmaking crafter.... so I thought what better opportunity to use the fabulous Sue Wilson dies!
I have kept the card very monotone, which done fit with my style, so hope you can see that you can really simply create a pretty Christmas card using only a handful of products.
I used an 8x8 Card and chopped about an inch off each side to retain the length but give the card a rectangular design. I used Phill Martin's Christmas papers in the background before matting and layering with Kraft card and a gold Foundations card. I die cut the gold using the Sue Wilson Frosty Mini Background.
I then die cut the Christmas striplet die using more of the papers from Phill, and then adhered that to the card. I took one of the inserts from Phill's pad, cut it out and then used a small piece from around the side of the pad to continue the vertical theme.
I used a Ranger Java Bean die based ink pad and stamped a Phill Martin Christmas sentiment and stamped onto Kraft card and used for my centrepiece.
I used some finishing touches dies I had in my stash, along with some of the Creative Expressions mini pine cone embellishments and crushed Champagne Ribbon.
And there you have it.... hope you like it.
Have a fabby weekend.
